The UET Blood Donors Society (BDS) organized a two-day Blood Screening Drive on campus, aimed at identifying students’ blood groups through blood sample screenings. The event was inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir. During his visit, the Vice Chancellor praised the efforts of the Blood Donors Society, stating that this initiative is a commendable way to serve humanity.
He emphasized that blood donation is a significant virtue, especially among young people, and expressed his appreciation for the enthusiasm shown by UET students. This event not only helps students learn their blood groups but also promotes a culture of altruism and community service.
