The event was held on Wednesday, 11th December 2024 in the Civil Department Seminar Hall at 11:45 am. Prof. Dr. Khalid Farooq, Dean Faculty of Civil Engineering, and Prof. Dr. Noor Muhammad Khan, Chairman Civil Engineering Department welcomed the guest and presented him with a bouquet. Engr. Shahzad Ayub was the guest speaker at the event.
He is a professional civil engineer with more than 25 years of experience in Structural Design Consultancy, Construction, and Large Scale Project Management. He is the first Pakistani who completed 4 modules of the executive training program (Global CEO Program) from Wharton Business School USA, IESE Barcelona, CEIBS Singapore & MIT USA. The guest explained multiple aspects related to job readiness and achieving success in a career such as technical knowledge, critical thinking, positive attitude, effective communication, networking, professional behavior, and job hunting procedures, etc.
Our worthy alumnus Dr. Javed Uppal also attended the event and presented a shield to the guest. Prof. Dr. Khalid Farooq gave concluding remarks. Engr. Shahzad Ayub made a generous donation for the renovation of the girl’s common room in the department. He along with some of the faculty members visited the girl’s common room and had a interaction with the students.
