The Vice Chancellor of the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore, Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir (TI), inaugurated the Replacement of Sewer Line and Allied Infrastructure/Storm Water Drainage System at UET Lahore.
The project, funded by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan, is being carried out at a cost of Rs. 127,742,964/-. This major infrastructure initiative is aimed at modernizing the university’s sewerage and drainage facilities to ensure a cleaner, safer, and more sustainable campus environment.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir emphasized the importance of upgrading essential infrastructure to provide a healthy and enabling environment for students, faculty, and staff. He appreciated HEC’s continued support in strengthening higher education institutions across the country.
The project reflects UET Lahore’s commitment to improving campus facilities and addressing long-term infrastructural needs in line with international standards.
