The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore has introduced Afternoon Bus Routes to facilitate students by providing additional transport services after regular class hours. This initiative has been taken on the special directives of Vice Chancellor UET, Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir (TI), keeping in view the increasing demand for safe and reliable commuting options for students.
The afternoon routes will cover all major destinations already included in the university’s transport network, ensuring that students can conveniently return home after academic activities, labs, and society engagements held in the second half of the day. The Transport Office of UET Lahore has issued detailed schedules and route maps, which have been shared with students through official notice boards and the university website.
The service is expected to benefit a large number of day scholars and contribute to easing the transport challenges faced by students. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir (TI) appreciated the efforts of the Transport Department and reiterated UET’s commitment to providing a student-friendly environment with quality academic and support facilities.
