Professor Dr. Shahid Munir (Medgha Imtiaz), Vice Chancellor of University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore inaugurated the project of conversion of sewerage line and its associated structures/stormwater drainage system. This project was funded by 12 crore 77 in cooperation with Higher Education Commission. It is being completed at a cost of one lakh 42 thousand 964.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Deans, Registrars, Directors, Faculty members and other administrative officers. On the occasion, the participants described this project as an important milestone for the improvement of infrastructure of the University.
Vice Chancellor Dr. Shahid Munir said UET Lahore is paying special attention to infrastructure improvement to provide modern and quality facilities to its students, teachers and staff. He added that the project is not only for drainage during rains. That will solve the problems but will also play an important role in improving the academic and research environment of the university.
