Engineer Waseem Nazir, Chairman of the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), visited the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore and met with the newly appointed Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir (TI). During the visit, Engr. Nazir congratulated Dr. Munir on assuming the role of Vice Chancellor.
The discussions focused on enhancing the university’s development and prosperity by modernizing its operations. Engineer Nazir assured full support for the accreditation of UET’s new programs. He commended Dr. Shahid Munir’s leadership as a positive step forward for UET. Dr. Shahid Munir expressed hope that PEC would continue to prioritize Pakistan’s oldest engineering institution and provide assistance with its challenges in the future.
