First-Ever Exhibition on Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ held at UET Lahore

For the first time in its history, the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore hosted a grand exhibition on Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ. The event was organized by Al-Madina Islamic Research Center in collaboration with the Inquisitors Quiz Society.
Vice Chancellor UET, Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and formally inaugurated the exhibition by cutting the ribbon. The exhibition featured a poster gallery, Seerat ﷺ models, virtual reality presentations, interactive 3D views, scholarly explanations, and quizzes with certificates for students.
Addressing the participants, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir said that this exhibition was a unique and innovative way to familiarize students with the Seerat of the Holy Prophet ﷺ. He emphasized that understanding and practicing the teachings of the Prophet ﷺ is the foundation of character-building. “Every aspect of the life of the Prophet ﷺ serves as a guiding light for us. Such activities not only enhance students’ knowledge but also strengthen their love for Islam and the Prophet ﷺ,” he remarked.
He further highlighted that youth must follow the exemplary character of the Prophet ﷺ and reflect upon the objectives of his Prophethood. “Seerat demands not just celebration, but true adoption and practice,” he added.
The event was attended by the Registrar, Deans, Heads of various academic and administrative departments, faculty members, and their families. The Vice Chancellor expressed his gratitude to Al-Madina Islamic Research Center for organizing this historic exhibition.
