Pakistan Energy Exhibition & Conference (PEEC) 2024 Sets New Benchmarks for Energy Industry Innovation

The Pakistan Energy Exhibition & Conference (PEEC) 2024, renowned as the world’s premier exhibition for the energy sector, concluded its three-day event on October 5, 2024, at the Expo Centre Lahore, leaving a lasting impact on both local and international participants. Held under the theme “Bringing Energy Industry Under One Roof,” the event once again served as a vital platform for global manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, service providers, project planners, and developers to come together and discuss the latest advancements, trends, and innovations shaping the energy industry today.


The 2024 edition not only maintained its reputation for excellence but also set new benchmarks by offering an unparalleled opportunity for industry players to engage in meaningful dialogue and exchange ideas across sectors including Power Technology, Oil & Gas, and Smart Energy solutions.
Exhibitors presented their latest innovations, demonstrating groundbreaking technologies and solutions designed to tackle critical issues in energy generation, distribution, and management. The event’s exhibition floor buzzed with activity as 200+ exhibitors from more than 32 countries showcased their cutting-edge offerings. Amongst the exhibitors, a team from Centre for Energy Research & Development (CERAD), UET Lahore also displayed a stall at the conference, showcasing their latest projects and research contributions to the energy sector.
This year’s event was graced by Prof. Dr. Waqar Mahmood, Director of the Centre for Energy Research & Development (CERAD) at the University of Engineering & Technology Lahore, as the chief guest. In his keynote speech, Prof. Mahmood emphasized the importance of energy as a critical resource for Pakistan’s economic development. He highlighted the pivotal role of CERAD in driving energy research and development initiatives aimed at addressing Pakistan’s energy challenges. He stated that “stronger collaboration between academic institutions, industry stakeholders, and government bodies is essential for creating sustainable energy solutions capable of meeting the country’s growing energy demands”.


The conference also provided a platform for dialogue between leading industrialists and academic experts from various organizations and institutions across the country. They shared their expertise and insights on the current state of the energy sector, offering innovative solutions to tackle the energy challenges faced by Pakistan and the world.
