Intending to play their part in world-wide campaigns for conservation of the natural environment, Team Art & Design from the Department of Architecture conducted “Plantation Drive 2021” in UET Lahore Main Campus, to honour the holy month of Rabi al-Awwal.
This drive was sponsored by the alumni of the Department, notably Ar. Haseeb Saleem and Ar. Moyaed Bakhsh.
The event was immaculately executed by the students of Architecture Department in high spirits, with support from the worthy Vice Chancellor Dr. Syed Mansoor Sarwar, Dean Faculty of Architecture and Planning Dr. Rizwan Hameed, Chairperson Architecture Dr. Munazzah Akhtar, and faculty members of the Department. As a result, 90 saplings were planted throughout the campus at different spots, in concern and love for the future generations that are still to set foot on Mother Earth.
Let us continue to make efforts for a safer, sustainable, and greener Pakistan in hopes of elevation of life standards throughout the country!
