The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore has achieved another significant milestone in the QS World University Rankings. Following its prominent standing in Asia, UET has now secured a strong position among the world’s leading engineering universities. In the QS World University Ranking, UET ranks among the top 236 global universities in the field of Engineering and Technology—a remarkable achievement.
Over the past three years, UET’s ranking has seen consistent improvement; it was ranked 279th in 2023, moved up to 250th in 2024, and has now reached 236th. Vice Chancellor UET Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir (TI), extended his gratitude to the faculty, administration, and students, saying, “This achievement is a result of the dedication of all UET stakeholders. Our faculty, administrative officers, and students have collectively made this success possible.
We are committed to ensuring that UET continues to progress on this path.” He further added that improving UET’s ranking in the coming years remains a top priority, and every effort will be made to achieve this goal. The continued progress of UET Lahore reflects its solid reputation not only in Pakistan but also on the global stage, further establishing it as a leading institution in the field of engineering and Technology.
