The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Government Islamia Graduate College (W), Cooper Road, Lahore to provide accommodation facilities for its female students.
Under this agreement, 125 female students of UET Lahore will be accommodated in the hostel premises of Government Islamia Graduate College (W), Cooper Road, for a period of four (04) years, with the provision of extension if required.
The initiative aims to ensure a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for UET’s female students, enabling them to pursue their academic goals without concerns regarding residential facilities.
Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor UET, Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir (TI), expressed his gratitude to the administration of Government Islamia Graduate College (W) for their cooperation and support. He highlighted that the MoU reflects UET’s commitment to expanding educational opportunities and improving student welfare, particularly for female students.
This collaboration marks a significant step forward in enhancing student support services at UET Lahore, while strengthening ties between higher education institutions for the betterment of academic communities.
