Vice Chancellor Quaid-e-Azam University, Prof. Dr. Niaz Akhtar, met with the newly appointed Vice Chancellor UET Lahore, Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir, to congratulate him on his new role. Dr. Akhtar presented Dr. Munir with a bouquet and extended his best wishes.
Dr. Niaz Akhtar expressed his pride in Dr. Shahid Munir’s appointment, stating, “It is a matter of great honor for us that Dr. Shahid Munir has been selected as the Vice Chancellor of such a prestigious institution. He is well-equipped to face the challenges and will undoubtedly guide UET in the right direction.”
He further added, “Dr. Shahid Munir has the capability to lead UET out of its current challenges, and we wish him success in his endeavors.”
In response, Dr. Shahid Munir thanked Dr. Niaz Akhtar and emphasized his commitment to restoring UET’s reputation, saying that he is determined to work under the guidance of seniors to achieve this goal.
The meeting was also attended by Dr. Abdul Sattar Shakir, Dr. Zafar Noon, Registrar Muhammad Asif, Dr. Tanveer Qasim, Dr. Shoaib, Dr. Mushtaq, and Dr. Faheem Gohar.
