Students from various departments formed the number “UET 104” to create a historic image.
Lahore, January 30, 2025 – The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore celebrated its 104-year journey with a special photo montage. In a unique tribute to their alma mater, dozens of students from different departments gathered to form “UET 104” in a meticulously organized photograph.
The event was arranged by the UET Media Society, which coordinated students in the central ground to create the historic image. Alongside this activity, various stalls were set up by students, adding to the celebratory atmosphere throughout the day.
Vice Chancellor Dr. Shahid Munir attended the event as the chief guest, visiting the student-organized stalls and acknowledging their efforts. The ceremony was also attended by faculty deans, heads of various academic and administrative departments, Director of Student Affairs Dr. Zulfiqar Ali, Public Relations Officer Dr. Tanveer Qasim, and Society Advisor Ahmed Naveed.
Dr. Shahid Munir highlighted UET’s remarkable 104-year legacy of academic excellence, emphasizing that the dedication of students and faculty continues to drive the institution forward. He also praised the efforts of the UET Media Society’s advisor and members for making the occasion memorable.
